Call for Salon Topics

Dr. Kaung's Salon: A safe, intimate space to talk about the things that interest and affect us. 6:30-8 pm on some Fridays, facilitated by writer and artist Kyi May Kaung.

If you are interested in talking about your pet topic, run it past Kyi with your short bio at kolorama@yahoo.com. Times are subject to availability and mutual convenience. A lead time of 1-2 months is normal, during which you can brainstorm ideas with Kyi, meet up in person at Kefa.

Kyi is also a poet and a political economist with an interest in international literature, activism and art. If your topic of interest is something she finds hard to relate to, e.g. baseball, you can work with her in finding a guest moderator.

Salon facilitator, curator, and owners reserve the right to decline topics that might be unsuitable for various reasons.
