A work-in-progress viewing of "mergence." Plus audience discussion on multiracial identity in contemporary U.S. society with cultural anthropologist and filmmaker J. Tomiko Anders.

Live Music: “Hurricane” Howie Feinstein, Keyboard, accordion, a little singing, plus background on the cultural roots of Louisiana roots music

Sept. 22, Fri., 6:30 pm
Historian Bijan C. Bayne will speak on the practice of exhibiting people of color as exotics and savages, the subject of his documentary-in-progress, “Show People” www.bbayne.com
