Civil Rights Book Discussion with Howard Feinstein
Fire on the Bayou, a civil rights memoir by lawyer, litigator, educator, and musician Howard Feinstein
Friday, March 19, 7:10pm to 8:30pm
"Fire On The Bayou" is a memoir / history of my civil rights cases from back in the day, including prosecutions of the Ku Klux Klan, racially-motivated police brutality, cross-burnings, etc.
It also has a couple of more personal chapters about what it was like for me in the Deep South doing this stuff, how I got into it, etc.
The last chapter is sort of a review of civil rights with an eye toward where we are now, and what the current focus is.
Free and open to the public.
