Paintings by Kyi May Kaung, founder and facilitator of Dr. Kaung's Salon series at Kefa Cafe, are part of an intriguing exhibit titled "Freedom" at Silver Spring's Heliport Gallery (8001 Kennett Street). The exhibit features four refugee and asylum artists at different stages in their artistic careers. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 4-7 pm.
