Botanical muralist and artist Kellie Cox-Brady uses traditional art techniques to create illustrations, public art, paintings and murals. She is inspired by local botanicals, nature and wildlife. Originally from Delaware, Kellie spent a lot of her childhood gardening and drawing flowers. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in landscape horticulture and plant science and over the last six years spent her time in Ithaca, New York and now lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.



Kellie uses traditional art techniques to create illustrations, public art, paintings and murals. She is inspired by local botanicals, nature and wildlife. Originally from Delaware, Kellie spent a lot of her childhood gardening and drawing flowers. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in landscape horticulture and plant science and over the last six years spent her time in Ithaca, New York. In Ithaca she became very involved in the art world and connecting with other artists. She installed over eight murals in Ithaca and held many solo gallery shows in the area. Kellie is now located in Silver Spring, Maryland. She works as the annuals assistant manager for a garden center called American Plant, along with being a freelance artist and muralist in the D.C. area. She has several mural projects and gallery shows planned for the near future.
